Children's Primary Care
Main ContentFamily Medicine
University of Mississippi Medical Center's family medicine specialists provide continuing, comprehensive health care for patients of all ages, from newborn to the elderly.
Focus is on the patient in relationship to the family and community with an emphasis on disease prevention and health promotion. The family physician often functions as the patient's point of entry in the health care system and serves as the care coordinator if other specialty services are needed.
In addition to highly qualified family medicine physicians, fellows, residents, nurse practitioners and staff members, our team includes two physicians additionally qualified in sports medicine.
